A Dream.....

When we held each other close

for those brief moments last night,

I could have sworn I was in heaven.

I closed my eyes and thought of how;

how wonderful it would be

To never again have to let go.

To walk, to run, to have you by my side...

to look at you, to laugh with you,To even cry with you......

is it but a dream?

In those passing moments

everything felt so right...

To hold you close; to know you're there,

to hold you oh so tight.

I sat in my car, and turned the key

and watched you leave my sight.

My heart sunk low, 'cause deep within
I feel like I know,

That we belong......together.
