Hardships...

Everyone goes through hard times in life. It's just part of life. We take our cares to God because we know He cares for us, but sometimes we think He doesn't hear us. Sometimes we think he's not listening to our cry for help. We get frustrated and angry at God because we begin to believe lies about Him. He's told us that He would never leave us nor forsake us. That is a Promise. The Word tells us that He can not lie. So... because of that truth, we can totally trust that God will NOT leave us and will NOT forsake us.

I'm saying this stuff to myself too. Some things have happened in the recent past that have made me wonder whether God has heard my prayers over the span of time. I've gotten frustrated with Him because I've thought that He hasn't listened. But I go back to the fact that God never changes. He never wavers or forgets or sleeps exactly like the Bible tells us. He is CONSTANT... Never changing. We are the ones who change and waver when something happens or goes wrong in our lives or when something happens that totally broad-sided us. His love and Grace never changes... he will always be by our side and never leave us.

I know this isn't "deep" or anything... But the truth is the truth... I have to remind myself of simple truth like this once in a while. Stuff I've known for years that seems to slip through the cracks.
