PETRA ROCKS!

Hey Folks... I'm not sure of you remember me advertising PETRA's farewell tour that was coming to my hometown for October 12th, but they came and it was AWESOME! Although, the concert here turned out to be more of a sharing time with John Schlitt because his lead Guitarist, Bob Hartman, couldn't make it due to bad weather in New Jersey. They sang a couple classics, but it was more of a really cool sharing time. John shared his life's testimony (which is a really great example of what Our Saviour can pull a person out of!) and answered some questions from the crowd. Some guys at the end actually got to play a song with John while he sang. That made their year!
Anyway though, because it wasn't a full concert, he invited the entire crowd to his next concert in the next place a couple hours away. So, of course I went! It was one of the greatest concerts I've ever been to.
Above is a picture of John Schlitt in Concert. He's a great man of God and he (and Bob Hartman) has invested his life procaiming God's Word in Song. Thank you PETRA, I will never forget you! You were the first Christian music I was ever exposed to right after I became a Christian. Again... THANK YOU for your lives and your ministry!
